If you have a boat, or know someone who does, another fun way to see the fireworks (both public and private displays) is from out on Barnegat Bay, the Manasquan River, or out in the ocean. Point Pleasant Beach's fireworks are usually visible from shore at Fisherman's Cove Park in Manasquan, and from parts of nearby Brielle. Another option is to head down to Lavallette, by land or sea, to the bayfront Gazebo, featuring live music and fireworks, usually starting around dark.
