Brielle Market Update - February 2024
In short, the market in Brielle is heating up as we approach spring! There was a lot more activity in January of 2024 than January of 2023 - for example - average days on market - in January 2023, we were at 87 - now, just last month, we were down to 18! Also, looking back, there was only one new listing in Brielle in January 2023, and there were 7 new listings in Brielle in January 2024. Last but not least - 3 closings in Brielle last month, and only one in January 2023.
There are several reasons for the changes above:
1) A mild winter - when we have a hard winter, owners are less inclined to sell, and buyers are less inclined to go look. So far, we've had an easy winter.
2) Rates are slowly coming down, and are projected to come down further this year.
3) Simply put - Spring is coming - traditionally, the market warms up as the weather warms up!
